Studio180 Dance Dance-A-Thon for Haiti is a Success!

Annapolis, MD - 03/11/10 - Studio 180 Dance hosted a Dance-A-Thon to raise funds for Haiti on Sunday, February 28th from 2 - 5pm at Studio 180 Dance on Gibralter Avenue in Annapolis, MD. 100% of all proceeds have been donated to The American Red Cross. The total amount raised was $3,552! Faculty members ran 3 hour-long classes in the forms of Jazz, Hip Hop, Zumba® and Zumbatomic® as students rotated studio spaces. Sponsors of the Dance-A-Thon were Studio 180 Dance, Galley Creative Group and Jason Weigle of TrayPML.

Studio180 Dance is so proud of all participants, donors and supporters. While 25 students danced, the studio was full of parents and friends supporting the participants as they worked hard and earned their pledge money! Studio 180 Dance cares about community-the Anne Arundel County community, the Maryland community, the Delmarva community, our nation and the world at large. Their first ever Dance-A-Thon was such a success and they hope to host more fundraisers in the future.

Studio 180 Dance offers instruction in the traditional disciplines of ballet, Pointe, tap, jazz, modern, hip hop, acro jazz, and lyrical as well as aerial dance, aerial circus, Zumba®, Zumbatomic®, ballroom and ballroom kids. Studio 180 Dance also hosts a competitive dance team, a professional company for adult dancers, and adult boot camps. All dancers are welcome, beginner through professional levels, ages 2 through adult.
