Studio 180 Dance Performs at
First Sunday Arts Festival

ANNAPOLIS, MD - Studio 180 Dance Inc. took to the streets this weekend and performed for the First Sunday Arts Festival in Annapolis. The First Sunday Festival takes place along West Street on the first Sunday of the month starting in May and ending in October.

At this month's event the faculty of Studio 180 performed ballet, modern, jazz, tap, aerial and ballroom. The members of Studio 180 were responsible for transforming the Stan and Joe's parking lot into a performance-ready stage. In order to complete the transformation, the faculty was responsible for assembling a 20' portable trapeze rig, and laying down a vinyl floor. By noon the dancers were ready; balancing on their toes, and hanging in the air from beautiful, blue fabric.

"This was our second year performing at the well-traveled festival, and again it proved to be a success," said Katie Carpenter, owner, Studio 180 Dance. "Studio 180 appreciates its continued support."

Studio 180 Dance has also performed at the Annapolis City Dock and local schools. Contact Studio 180 at 410.268.5299 for information and to schedule a performance.
Fall classes are now in session at the studio. Studio 180 offers classes for ages 2-adult, beginning to professional levels. For the complete fall schedule and registration please visit their website at www.studio180dance.com, or call 410-268-5299.
